A stunning piece of emerald green sea glass set in 24k gold vermeil (gold plated sterling silver)

14k gold vermeil chain length is 18 inches / 46cm.

Sea glass begins as discarded bottles and jars that have made their way into the ocean. Over time, they break apart and are smoothed by the movement of waves and sand. This process softens the sharp edges before the glass is washed ashore. Typically, sea glass has a frosted appearance when found, but I give each piece an additional tumble in my machine to restore its glossy, polished look, ensuring it meets the quality needed for fine jewellery.  All sea glass is found along our UK shorelines.
