Cobalt Blue Sea Glass Pendant

A dainty sea glass pendant made with a piece of cobalt blue sea glass. Encased in sterling silver and on an 18” sterling silver chain. Height of sea glass pendant approximately 10mm.

Sea glass comes from discarded bottles and jars that have drifted into the ocean, where they are broken down and tumbled by waves and sand over many years. This natural process smooths the sharp edges until the glass washes ashore. While sea glass typically has a frosted look when found, I give each piece an extra tumble in my machine to bring out a polished, glossy finish, transforming it into high-quality jewellery-grade glass. All sea glass is found along our UK shorelines.
